Region under freezing drizzle advisory

A freezing drizzle advisory has been issued for Waterloo Region Thursday.

Environment Canada says periods of freezing drizzle are expected into the evening. 

The weather agency warns surfaces such as roads, highways, and sidewalks may become icy and slippery.

It's the fourth weather alert to be issued in the region this week.
