Rangers get fifth win in a row, shut out Greyhounds

The Kitchener Rangers extend their win streak to five games as they shut out the Sault St. Marie Greyhounds on Friday by a score of 3-0.

Captain Mattthew Andonovski opened the scoring in the first period, and Chris Grisolia added two goals of his own during the second and third periods in what marked his 200th career game. Jackson Parsons received first star honours by getting his league leading 16th win and fourth shutout of the year on his 100th career start.

The Rangers current sits in second in the Midwest Division, Western Conference and in the overall PHL standings, behind the London Knights with a season record of 20-5-2-1.

Kitchener travels down to Windsor on Saturday to take on the Windsor Spitfires. Puck drop is at 7 p.m.
