Man with knife threatens staff at downtown Kitchener business: WRPS

A scary situation at a downtown Kitchener business.

Waterloo Regional Police were called to an establishment at King Street and Ontario Street on Wednesday just after 1 a.m.

It was due to reports that a man was wielding a knife and threatening staff members.

No one was hurt and officers arrived to the scene and arrested a 45-year-old man.

He’s facing charges including uttering threats and assault with a weapon.
