Kitchener resident accused of stealing ATV in Perth County

Two people, including a resident of Kitchener, are facing charges after an all-terrain vehicle was stolen from a residence in Perth County.

The crime was reported to provincial police on April 4.

The ATV was allegedly stolen from a residence on Perth Line 72. It was loaded onto a vehicle that fled the scene. The suspect vehicle was later located at a residence on Road 128 in the Township of Perth East.

Officers attended the residence, locating both the suspect vehicle and stolen ATV.

As a result of the investigation, 50-year-old Angelo Karageorgos of Kitchener, has been charged with theft of a motor vehicle and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

Dylan Leslie, 29, of Parry Sound, has been charged with theft of a motor vehicle, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and failing to comply with a probation order.

The accused were both released from custody and will appear in a Stratford court at a later date to answer to the charges.
