Impaired driver from Kitchener charged after crash: OPP

OPP have charged a driver from Kitchener with impaired-related offences following a crash in Guelph-Eramosa Township.

The two-vehicle collision was reported around 7 p.m. on July 15 on Wellington Road 124.

No one was injured and responding officers laid charges against one of the drivers.

The 30-year-old from Kitchener has been charged with several offences including driving while impaired by alcohol, dangerous driving, driving a vehicle without insurance, and driving with open liquor.

The accused received a 90-day licence suspension and their vehicle was impounded for seven days. They will appear in Guelph court in August.
