Kitchener, Toronto men charged after attempted break-in

Three men are facing a long list of charges after an attempted break-and-enter in Kitchener, where it was believed the suspects were armed with guns.
Shortly after midnight on Tuesday, police were called to reports of a man with a gun in the Victoria Street North area. That gun later turned out to be an imitation firearm.
Police do not make mention of a specific intersection where the man was seen.
After further investigation, police said three suspects had attempted to break into a motel.
They reportedly were not successful and left the area in a rideshare vehicle.
The three were later arrested and charged. Police said they found and seized three fake guns during the investigation.
Two men from Kitchener, 31 and 40, as well as a 22-year-old man from Toronto, are facing numerous charges, including attempted break-and-enter and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Anyone with information is still being asked to contact police.
