Colbert Report showcases Christie’s MicroTiles

They’re like digital Lego blocks that can be made into any shape or size.

Christie’s MicroTiles display systems are getting a lot of attention.

They have been part of the set on Comedy Central’s Colbert Report since January.

The Kitchener-based company first launched the technology in November.

Bob Rushby is Christie’s Vice-President of Research and Development and the Chief Technology Officer.

H tells 570 News response to MicroTiles has been huge and being part of the set on the Colbert Report has upped the interest.

He says the product has plenty of other uses.

Rushby says some architects are putting them in new buildings and museums are using them to display exhibits in unique ways.
