Over Oct. 3, and Oct. 4, construction on the Kitchener line will continue, impacting the GO train schedule throughout the weekend.
While the work is ongoing, you may have to take a different route to get to your destination. In their release announcing the construction, Metrolinx has provided some temporary route changes for service this weekend.

What is being impacted
GO trains will be running between Mount Pleasant and Mount Dennis GO stations. Select GO buses will also be running between Stratford or Kitchener GO and Hwy 407 Bus Terminal.
For those traveling out of Stratford or Kitchener GO stations, the route 30 bus between Stratford/Kitchener and Bramalea GO will connect to train service at Mount Dennis GO. You can also stay on the bus to Hwy 407 Bus Terminal, which will bring you to TTC Line 1, connecting to Union Station.
GO riders heading out of Guelph Central, Acton or Georgetown GO stations can take the regular route 33 GO bus to connect to train service at Mount Pleasant GO. That will connect to the train at Mount Dennis GO, or you can stay on the route 33 bus to York Mill Bus Terminal. Metrolinx says that train service ends at Mount Dennis GO.
For residents going from Bramalea Go to Union, regular GO bus routes 30 and 47 will take you to Hwy 407 Bus Terminal. Then, you can connect to TTC line 1 to Union Station.
If you are heading to Union Station from any other stations, take the train to Mount Dennis GO. Next, take the ECLRT Line 5 to TTC Line 1, which will bring you to Union Station.
GO transit service will not be running at Bloor GO station. To get from Bloor station to Union Station, take TTC Line 2, then connect to TTC Line 1 at St. George station.
GO trains arriving and departing Stratford/Kitchener GO on Monday, Oct. 5, and Tuesday, Oct. 6. may be adjusted two minutes earlier or later than when they are regularly scheduled. Metrolinx recommends that anyone using GO services should check the schedule before heading out.
