Cambridge’s Gaslight District prepares for active Sunday

After a summer filled with different community events, sports watch parties and active living programs have continued to frequent the Gaslight District in Cambridge, and this weekend is no different.

A fitness class has gathered every Sunday in Cambridge’s Gaslight District Square throughout the summer. After a busy season, their last free class will be held today.

All ages are welcome to partake in the classes, which start at 10:30 a.m., and end around 11:15 a.m. Hosted by EMBR Studio, the group meets at 64 Grand Ave. S. in Cambridge.

The class is also welcoming to all fitness levels, building a welcoming and encouraging environment for all who are interested.

Sunday Afternoon

Though, the fitness class isn’t the only thing happening around the Gaslight District. In addition, Cambridge will be playing all of the Arsenal vs. Chelsea match on their big screen.

Starting shortly after the fitness class ends, the watch party is scheduled to begin, at 11:30 a.m. The game is free to watch, though organizers do recommend bringing your own chair or cushion for comfort.

Free Wi-Fi and parking will be available onsite, or nearby. Both events will be held in rain or shine, though they will be canceled if there is lightning.
