Multiple Lincoln SUVs stolen from Guelph’s south end

The Guelph Police Service announced Thursday that they are actively investigating a pair of similar vehicle thefts that occurred in the city’s south end.
Just after 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning, a resident living near Downey Rd and Ptarmigan Dr reported his vehicle had been stolen overnight. The car stolen was a white 2025 Lincoln Navigator. Officers found the vehicle in Mississauga thanks to its internal tracking system and managed to recover it.
Then, at an unspecified time less than 24 hours later, a resident living near Goodwin Dr and Dominion Dr reported a similar vehicle theft. The victim’s vehicle was stolen from his driveway and was also reported to be a Lincoln, this time a black 2025 Navigator.
Guelph police say it is still unknown if the two thefts are related, or by the same culprits.
