Champion Cambridge Redhawks to host championship parade Saturday

The 2026 GOHL champion Cambridge Redhawks will celebrate their title win with the community, right where the season ended, Galt Arena Gardens.

The roughly 35-minute championship parade will kick off at 3 p.m. and end up at Cambridge City Hall, where celebrations will continue until 6 p.m.

The Redhawks won their first Sutherland Cup championship in team history on May 2, defeating the St. Mary’s Lincolns in overtime by a score of 4-3. The home win capped off their best-of-seven final series in five games, with Cambridge winning 4-1.

The parade begins at Galt Arena Gardens (98 Shade St.) at 3 p.m., travelling down Shade St. to Main St., Main St. to Wellington St., then on Dickson St., arriving at City Hall Civic Square (50 Dickson St.). Road closures will be in effect around the route to make way for the parade.
