Kitchener driver charged in Fergus crash

A driver from Kitchener is facing charges after a serious two-vehicle collision in Fergus.

Wellington County OPP responded to the scene on Highway 6 between side roads 18 and 19 on Monday afternoon.

Police say one vehicle was attempting to pass another and ended up in the ditch.

Four people were taken to hospital, one with major but non-life-threatening injuries.

Two individuals suffered minimal injuries and the fourth person was treated for minor injuries.

A 58-year-old Kitchener man has been charged with two counts of careless driving causing bodily harm.
