K-W Titans remain undefeated, enter 2026 with perfect 3-0 record

By Justin Koehler

The K-W Titans are wrapping up 2025 in as good a position as they can, pushing into the new year with a perfect record after defeating the Lake Erie Jackals 132-95.

It marked the third contest of the young season for the Titans, after a pair of games against the Windsor Express on opening weekend.

The latest effort against the Jackals was a real team effort for the squad, with three different players finishing with double-doubles, including starting forward Tyshon Groce.

The bench once again played a key role in the game, with the other two double-doubles coming from the likes of Calvin Felder and Braden Bell. Both finished with 11 boards and at least 17 points on the night.

While the Titans led the way throughout the contest, there were just two points separating the two teams by the end of the first quarter.

It was in the second where the Titans really created some distance from the Jackals, scoring 42 points compared with the Jackals’ 27.

David Schooley, the CEO of Titans Basketball, had a simple message for the team in order for the rest of the season to be a success.

“We just need to keep doing what we’re doing now: stay humble,” he said. “Work hard, stick to the principles… we play three minutes at a time.”

Going into 2026, the Titans season runs until March 29 and will feature special events at every home game. Some of those include the Stuff-A-Hummer game for the Food Bank of Waterloo Region on Jan. 17, Black History Month on Feb. 1, and First Responders Night on Mar. 15.

Up next, the Titans get set to roll their perfect record into the new year, preparing for another matchup at home in front of fans at The Aud, welcoming in the Montreal Toundra.

Tip-off is set for 3:00 p.m., and tickets can be found on the K-W Titans website.
