New game times and a new look for the upcoming KW Titans season.
The Titans are gearing up for a 27-game schedule set to start after Christmas on Dec. 27. That also marks the team’s home opener and highlights a new time slot for games, Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m.
The new tipoff time was put in place to allow local hockey fans to still be home in time for Hockey Night in Canada.
Titans faithful will also be able to take in games Sunday afternoons again, but a bit earlier, at 3 p.m.
The Titans organization said this was to allow for “morning commitments” on Sundays.
Tickets for the 15 home games this year from December to March go on sale Thursday morning at 10 a.m.
One team they will not be playing is the London Lightning. The organization announced earlier this fall that it would not be continuing in the Basketball Super League (BSL).
The KW Titans could also look a bit different this year.
Owners David and Kate Schooley have teased a new brand reveal for the team coming up on November 7th.
“We’ve re-imagined what it means to be a Titan, and are moving forward with a look that’s bold, modern, and rooted in community.”
The “bold new identity” was put together by local design studio, Studio Locale.
