Highway 8 reopened following morning crash, fuel leak

It was a messy Monday morning for motorists on Highway 8 in Kitchener after a crash resulted in a fuel leak.
Ontario Provincial Police said the two-vehicle crash occurred in the westbound lanes of the highway just before Fairway Road.
A tractor-trailer was involved and while the collision led to a spill, no injuries were reported.
The clean-up continued into the early afternoon hours, with only one westbound lane of traffic getting through on the highway.
All lanes on Highway 8 westbound reopened around 2:30 Monday afternoon.
