Charges laid after road rage incident in Cambridge

Waterloo Regional Police have laid multiple charges against a driver from Cambridge following an incident of road rage.
On June 2, officers responded to the area of Garth Massey Drive and Arthur Fach Drive after receiving a report of road rage.
Police say that on scene the victim told officers she was approached by a woman who allegedly yelled racist comments at her, then spat on and threw coffee at her.
The suspect then allegedly got in their vehicle and fled the scene; no physical injuries were reported.
Three days later, police arrested a 40-year-old Cambridge woman. She has been charged with assault, assault with a weapon and mischief under $5,000.
The suspect is due in court on July 14.
