Kitchener Panthers to play makeup game against Brantford Red Sox

The Kitchener Panthers are back on the mound this afternoon for a makeup game as the Intercountry Baseball League continues to catch up on several cancelled games.

The Panthers will take on the Brantford Red Sox this afternoon at Jack Couch Park, following their postponed game on May 22nd.

David Schooley, co-owner of the Kitchener Panthers, confirmed to 570 News Radio that the game is taking place at 2 p.m. and they will be giving away 150 free pizzas.

Kitchener will also play on Sunday, getting set to host the Barrie Baycats.

Currently, the Panthers are on a two-game losing streak and are 2-3 on the young season. Tickets are available at the park and on the Kitchener Panthers website.
