Winner announced for last Farwell4Hire early bird draw

As the month of May nears its end, so does the Farwell4Hire 50/50 raffle.
Friday marked the last of four early bird draws that have seen lucky winners receive some cold, hard cash and an exclusive Kitchener Rangers fan experience.
At noon on Friday, May 23 the final early bird draw saw Mary Dopp win $1000 in cash, courtesy of Erik Kuttis and TLC Pet Food.
The massive grand prize continues to grow with the jackpot surpassing $100,000 as of Friday afternoon.
That jackpot means the take home prize is now over $50,000.
There is still plenty of time for that number to grow with the grand prize draw taking place on Friday, May 30 at 12:15 p.m.!
There are many ways to support the Farwell4Hire Campaign in support of cystic fibrosis research.
This weekend both Kitchener Fire and The Lab Street Eats are getting in on the fun, with ways to donate to the campaign.
Kitchener Fire is hosting a car wash at its headquarters Saturday afternoon on 270 Strasburg Road from 12:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
The Lab Street Eats is hosting a community BBQ in partnership with Brady’s Meats. on Sunday.
