Rangers VIP experience and cash won in second Farwell4Hire early bird

As the Farwell4Hire campaign rolls along, more amazing early bird prizes were handed out on Friday.

A big congratulations to Arkadiusz Drozd, the winner of the Rangers VIP experience package. Long time listeners to 570 NewsRadio may recognize him as former talk show host Eric Drozd.

“It’s funny being on this side of the phone call. I remember used to make a phone call or two,” he said.

Eric will get to enjoy a tour of the Rangers dressing room and other behind the scenes areas. He’ll also receive an autographed Rangers jersey was well as a meet and greet with players and he’ll get to sit with Mike in the booth for a Rangers broadcast next season.

But, he wasn’t the only winner on the day.

Gordon Harris took home $1,500 courtesy of Angela Dennis and the Better Business Bureau.

The winning doesn’t end there because there because both are also eligible for the 50/50 Grand Prize draw coming up on May 30, 2025.

In a new twist on Friday, Farwell added to the incentive, saying if the 50/50 jackpot reaches $100,000, he will wear a Montreal Canadiens hat for one whole hour on his show.

As of 4 p.m. Friday, the jackpot was just shy of $80,000 making the take home prize nearly $40,000.

There will one more early bird draw next week, Friday, May 23.

All the money raised goes to cystic fibrosis research.
