Teens charged after alleged knife-point robbery in Kitchener

A trio of kids as young as 14 are facing charges for an alleged daytime knife-point robbery at a business in Kitchener.
Waterloo Regional Police Service were called a little before 4:00, Wednesday afternoon, for reports of an armed robbery in the Duke Street East and Frederick Street area.
Police said three suspects in masks came in with knives and stole merchandise.

No one was hurt.
Officers found two of the suspects near the scene, and the third was arrested soon after 6:00 that evening.
The suspects are a pair of 14-year-old boys from Waterloo, and a 15-year-old boy from Cambridge.
Their charges include robbery with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and disguise with intent.

Police expect to lay more charges, but for now, they are still investigating.
