Roads reopened in Wilmot after crash sends one to hospital with serious injuries

The intersection of Huron Road and Sandhills Road has reopened in Wilmot Township following a two-vehicle collision Tuesday.

The pair of roads were closed after an early-morning collision sent one person to hospital with serious injuries.

According to Waterloo Regional Police, emergency services responded to that two-vehicle crash.

It happened before 8 a.m. on and sent one person to an out-of-region hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Sandhills Drive was closed between Witmer Road and Bethel Road, and Huron Road between Hallman Road and Pinehill Road, but both have since reopened.
