Stabbing in Kitchener leads to WRPS investigation

Police have launched an investigation after a man was stabbed in Kitchener.

Waterloo Regional Police say the incident occurred on Sunday, Oct. 6, at around 5:30 a.m., when it received calls in the Victoria Street North and St. Leger Street area.

When they arrived, officers found a man on-scene with injuries, needing to be transported to an out-of-region hospital for treatment. Police say the injuries were serious, but non-life threatening.

An investigation has now been launched, with police seeking information from the public.
