57th annual Multicultural Festival celebrates diversity in Victoria Park

The 57th annual Kitchener-Waterloo Multicultural Festival continues on Sunday at Victoria Park, hosting vibrant displays of the region’s diversity.

The festival runs this afternoon from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m., featuring performances from Sultans of String, Natalie and the Sarcastic Onions, and Fiyah Brigade, and many more.

The event also has an area for the kids, with multiple different community groups hosting colouring, a bubbles station, hula-hoops and more.

The festival will go ahead rain or shine, so be sure to bring along an umbrella.

If you’re heading to the festival, remember, ION trains and busses are free this weekend thanks to Grand River Transit’s anniversary.
