Pedestrian struck by vehicle in Guelph, police looking for driver

Guelph police are searching for a driver after a hit and run crash on Thursday afternoon that saw a pedestrian struck.

A woman in her 20s was crossing Westwood Road near Imperial Road around 3:10 p.m. when she was hit by a grey car.

The driver fled the scene and is described as being a Black male in his 30s. The vehicle was a grey sedan, that may have been a Nissan Sentra.

The pedestrian was hurt and taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Anyone with information on the hit and run is asked to contact Guelph police.
