Warmer than seasonal fall weather expected to end this weekend

By Josh Goeree

If you haven’t had a chance to go outside this week, today might be the last day to enjoy the beautiful fall weather.

CityNews meteorologist Jessie Uppal said the day time highs this week have been five to 10 C higher than the seasonal normal.

She notes the warmer temperatures are expected to come to an end by the weekend.

“This weekend will feature much cooler temperatures, even a few degrees below average,” said Uppal.

“In fact, it looks like colder weather is here to stay with us through the final days of November, where we could be seeing our very first measurable snowfall of the season.”

Thursday’s high is 13 C and mainly sunny.

On Friday, a cold front will bring a 40 per cent chance of showers with five mm of rain expected between the morning and afternoon.

On Saturday, the high drops to 3 C and a low of minus -2 C.
