E-bike rider hit by minivan, seriously hurt in Kitchener: WRPS

Charges are pending after a crash between a minivan and an e-bike.

It happened just before 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 3 in the Greenfield Avenue and Kingsway Drive area of Kitchener.

According to Waterloo Regional Police, a Honda Odyssey turned left into a driveway when it struck an e-bike.

The 52-year-old Kitchener man riding the e-bike was sent to an out-of-region hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Police continue to investigate.
