Founder of Heffner Motors has passed away

John Heffner Sr., the founder of Heffner Motors in Kitchener has passed away. 

The automobile dealership, now known as Heffner Lexus Toyota, confirmed the news in a social media post on Wednesday afternoon.

“John Heffner Sr. inspired many lives through his passion, generosity, and strong sense of family and community,” read a post on Instagram.

He first opened Heffner Motors in 1960, then moved the business to King Street East (across from Rockway Gardens) in 1962, before it was moved to its current location in 1987.
