Another COVID case at the regional courthouse

By CityNews Kitchener Staff

There has been another COVID-19 case at the Waterloo Region Courthouse.

The affected individual, who works at the courthouse, but is not a public service employee, received a positive test result on January 5.

They were last in the building on December 31.

The individual did not experience any symptoms while in the courthouse, and did follow public health guidance, including wearing a mask.

They are now self-isolating, and public health officials are following up with contact tracing.

There were also two cases at the Frederick Street courthouse in late November.
