Structure fire in Kitchener causes over $1M in damage

Kitchener Fire say there has been over $1 million in damage after a structure fire in Kitchener.

Crews were called to the scene just after 3 a.m. on Sunday morning, on Traynor Avenue.

They say the fire was on the exterior progressing to the roof, but it was quickly extinguished.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

No injuries have been reported, but the structure now has a significant amount of water damage in addition to damage caused by the fire.
