Special weather statement ends, snow events still in effect

A snowy weekend for much of Southern Ontario.
Environment Canada issued a special weather statement Saturday for Waterloo Region and Wellington County, with upwards of 15 centimeters of snow on the way by the end of the weekend.
After bursts of flurries and steady light snowfall, the national weather authority ended the statement Sunday evening.
Due to the accumulation – a snow event has been declared in the City of Kitchener, the City of Waterloo, and the City of Guelph.
On street parking will also not be permitted in Waterloo on Monday from 2:30 AM to 6 AM.
A 24 hour plow out has also been issued for the City of Guelph starting at 5 PM Sunday.
