Waterloo Regional Police say a 19-year old spent New Year’s Eve in jail after he was arrested for an alleged home invasion.
Police were called on December 30 about a break-in at an apartment on Paulander Drive in Kitchener.
Two residents suffered minor injuries.
Investigators call it a targeted incident, and there is no concern for public safety.
The very next day, a young man from Kitchener was arrested — his name is not being released.
He’s been charged with Robbery; Assault with a Weapon; Weapons Dangerous; and Utter Threats.
