Former Kitchener Rangers forward Spaling scores on 1st shift with the Sharks

Nick Spaling knows how to make a debut with a new NHL team.

The 27 year-old scored on his first shift with the San Jose Sharks on Wednesday night vs. Colorado. The Leafs traded Spaling to the Sharks earlier this week.

It’s his second goal of the season. He had seven points in 35 games with Toronto.

The Avalanche would edge San Jose 4-3 in a shootout.
