Pumpkin Parade wraps up Halloween and helps dispose of pumpkins

Halloween may be over, but you still have a chance to go out and show off your pumpkin carving skills.
Members of the community are invited to display their jack-o-lanterns near the clock tower in Victoria Park this evening for the Pumpkin Parade.
The hope is that the parade of pumpkins will light up the night tonight. The event starts at 7 pm.
The City will also collect any pumpkins that are brought at the end of the event for compost.
The Region reminds residents that if you can’t bring your pumpkin to the park tonight to be disposed of, you can also place it in your green bin at home.
