Cambridge teen killed in crash on 403 in Burlington

An 18-year-old Cambridge woman has died after a single-vehicle rollover in Burlington.

Provincial Police say Samantha Rose Desousa lost control of her vehicle on Highway 403 Friday evening.

The vehicle entered a ditch at the side of the road, struck a pole, and rolled over.

Desousa was pronounced dead at the scene.

She graduated from Monsignor Doyle in Cambridge in June. The Record says grief counsellors will be at the school today.

A gofundme campaign has already raised close to $30,000 for the family.
