Leafs great Doug Gilmour coming to THEMUSEUM

It’s not every day that a Maple Leafs legend comes to town.
Doug Gilmour is in Kitchener on Tuesday, September 29th, for an evening at THEMUSEUM.
Author and musician Dave Bidini will interview the Leafs great, and then he’ll take questions from the audience.
Gilmour tells 570’s Eric Drozd Show that listeners might be surprised to know he has a connection with the Kitchener Rangers.
“My son-in-law played there — Evan McGrath,” says Gilmour. “His number’s up in the rafters there, so it’s always fun to come through there.”
The former Leafs captain led the team to the Campbell Conference final in 1993 when a controversial Wayne Gretzky high stick left him in need of eight stitches.
“I’ll get into it more in detail [on the 29th],” he says, “but it certainly was a hot topic at the time. As time moves on, you just let it go.”
Doors open at 7pm. Tickets are $45 each.
