The Barrie Baycats have defended their IBL title from 2014.
On Tuesday night, the Baycats doubled the Kitchener Panthers 8-4 in Barrie to take the series in five games.
Barrie jumped out to a quick lead scoring six runs in the first inning.
Panthers first baseman Thomas Richards drove in a pair of runs, while catcher Rick Murray and right-fielder Darnell Duckett both had an RBI.
