A third suspect in the August 10th arson spree in Owen Sound has been arrested.

Around 10 AM Thursday morning 26-year-old Donald Wilson was arrested at a property in the Oliphant area of the Bruce Peninsula.

Police say Wilson is wanted on 17 counts of arson disregard for human life, six counts of arson to property and one count of break and enter.

In a release, Inspector Wurfel states, “At this point, our investigation indicates that there are no further suspects in relation to the arson occurrences in Owen Sound on August 10th.”

Two others have been arrested after a series of fires that damaged and destroyed more than 10 properties in the city early Monday.

The investigation is ongoing.
