Toronto, York and Durham will all release marks for public elementary students

More public elementary school students will be getting marks this year, in spite of job action by their teachers.

The Toronto School Board has now been joined by the Durham District School Board and York Region District Board
which this morning announced that they too will release marks.

Durham says it hopes to have the report cards ready to send home with students on the last day of school.

The Toronto board says its marks may not be ready to be sent out until July. York says they may take until late August to get their marks out.

On Tuesday, the Waterloo Region District School Board announced it would be sending out placement letters instead of report cards.
