Special weather statement: Freezing rain expected tonight & Wednesday

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Waterloo Region and Wellington County.

It says freezing rain is expected in some parts of southern Ontario tonight and into Wednesday as the temperature is expected to dip to near or slightly below zero.

The agency says the greatest risk is in the north and west of the Greater Toronto Area.
