A Cambridge man in his forties is facing several charges including robbery with a weapon, following an incident at a Cambridge convenience store.
Police were called to the store in the Pinebush Road and Franklin Boulevard area on the Labour Day Monday, around 4:30 p.m.
“Investigators learned that the male demanded money from an employee before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of cash,” said police.
Three days later, on the afternoon of Sept. 10, police made an arrest in the case.
Officials said surveillance video provided by businesses and members of the public helped in the arrest.
A 40-year-old man from Cambridge has since been charged with robbery with a weapon, possession of weapon for a dangerous purpose, and disguise with intent.
