Former Golden Hawk drafted by CWHL’s Toronto Furies

A former Wilfrid Laurier women’s hockey player has been drafted by the Toronto Furies of the Canadian Women’s Hockey League.

Orangeville’s Candice Styles was taken in the fourth round.

The blueliner is coming off a career year with the Golden Hawks. She finished with 21 points, good for second among all CIS defenders.

Styles was also recognized with the President’s Award as the top female athlete at Laurier.
