The Walper Terrace Hotel in Kitchener has some bragging rights after last night’s Top Chef Canada Finale.
Terry Salmond is the Executive Chef who made it to the final three. He had to complete a four course meal for the judges on the Food Network reality show.
The 30-year-old presented each course as a chapter in his life.
The self-taught chef wowed the judges with his yogurt parfait dessert with burnt onion crunch.
Salmond finished second behind Ottawa’s Rene Rodriguez, whom he had nothing but praise for, saying if he had to lose he was glad it was to Rene.
Salmond was a guest on 570 News Midday’s Tuesday and you can listen to the full interview here.
