12:00pm- Lindsay Wiese, spokesperson for Square, the mobile payments business.
Square, the mobile payments business, announced today that it will open a permanent office in Waterloo Region this Spring at 305 King Street in downtown Kitchener. The C-E-O of Square is Jack Dorsey, he’s also the co-founder of twitter. The company came to the region last summer, and will now call the downtown their permanent home creating at least 30 jobs locally.
