St. Mary’s satisfies, according to report

For the second straight year, a patient satisfaction report has rated St. Mary’s General Hospital in Kitchener in the top 10% of hospitals in Ontario.Only two other hospitals in Ontario received top marks for patient satisfaction with care in Day Surgery.
On top of that, Patients rated St. Mary’s in the top 10 percent for their satisfaction with the quality of their acute inpatient care, as well as their likelihood to recommend the hospital to family and friends.
Sandra Hett, Vice President, Patient Services and Chief Nursing Executive says this report helps, “St. Mary’s learn about patients’ needs, work towards ways of improving care, and better understand their experiences and expectations, which is essential to the quality improvement process.”
The report was released by National Research Corporation of Canada (NRCC).
