Sun in the forecast for Labour Day across Waterloo Region

After a week filled with on and off rain, and heavy thunderstorms. A dry week is projected in the Environment Canada forecast, with only low risks of small showers later this week.
Sun is in the forecast for the Waterloo Region to close out the weekend. Partial cloud coverage expected to stick around throughout the week. Temperatures for the week are continuing to slowly cool down, with the high hovering around 23 degrees going into next week.
For Sunday, a mix of sun and clouds are expected, with temperatures reaching a high of 23 degrees. Overnight, skies will stay partially cloudy, and it will cool down to 10 degrees.
On Labour Day, Environment Canada says those clouds are expected to clear for the most part throughout the day, leaving clear and sunny skies. It will be a great day to get out and enjoy the warmer weather before temperatures drop as Fall approaches. The high for Labour Day is 24 degrees, bringing a humidex of 28 degrees and a UV index of 7 or high, so you may want to bring sunscreen with you as well.
Forecast for the rest of the week
On Tuesday, clouds are projected to roll into the region and block out most of the sun, while temperatures will reach a high of 23 degrees. Overnight, those cloudy conditions will continue and carry into Wednesday, as temperatures drop down to a low of 17 near midnight.
Wednesday, more cloudy skies are expected throughout the day. Those clouds will carry a 40 percent chance of some light showers, while temperatures reach a high of 25 degrees. Overnight, and moving into Thursday you can expect those conditions to continue, Wednesday’s low is 14 degrees.
Now on Thursday, there is a 40 percent chance of some more light rain in the morning. Though skies will begin to clear again, becoming a mix of a sun and clouds throughout the day. Thursday’s high is 20 degrees, with temperatures dropping down to 9 degrees overnight.
Finally, on Friday those remaining clouds are projected to clear out, leaving clear and sunny skies going into the weekend. The high is 22 degrees. Overnight skies will stay clear for the most part, with some clouds expected to roll in for Saturday.
