11:00am- Sasa Kahrimanovic, 2014 president, of the local tri-Pride Community Association, Re: The rainbow flag, representing the local lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGTBQ) community, will be placed in the rotunda at Kitchener City Hall until the end of the 2014 Sochi Olympics Games in Russia.  This gesture is in solidarity with LGTBQ communities around the world, and in particular those in Russia, which passed an anti-gay law last year.

11:30am- Dave Caputo, Co-Cordinator of The Statue Project, Re: The results of an online survey from the City of Kitchener asking for public input on a proposal to install bronze statues of Canada’s 22 prime ministers has been released.
