The United Way of Kitchener-Waterloo needs your help.
It’s forecasting a $100,000 shortfall of its $5.1 million goal.
CEO, Jan Varner is asking for community participation next week on Giving Tuesday.
Varner says December 3rd is a day when charities, non-profits, families and businesses come together , and rally for their favourite charitable causes.
They are asking the community to help them close in on that gap.
She says it’s the difference between food in someone’s stomach and a roof over their head.
