New partnership forms to study local economy

A new research group has been formed to study Waterloo Region’s economy.The group, known as the Waterloo Region Collaborative Economic Research Group (WRCERG) consists of the Laurier Centre for Economic Research and Policy Analysis; Canada’s Technology Triangle Inc; the Region, plus Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge, as well as the Workforce Planning Board of Waterloo Wellington Dufferin.
The goal is to gather and share data and analysis to create an accurate and consistent picture of the regional economy over time.
