Attempted Robbery in Kitchener

Regional Police responded to an attempted robbery early Saturday morning at the Stop 2 Shop covenience store located at 491 Highland Road West.
A male wearing a mask entered the store weilding a hammer.
The store clerk was able to fight him off, the man then fled the scene.
No one was hurt and nothing was stolen.
The suspect is described as 6 feet tall with a solid build.
