Rainfall Warning in effect for Waterloo Region

A rainfall warning has been put into effect for Waterloo Region and surrounding areas.

Environment Canada is calling for 60-90 mm of rain as a slow moving cold front moves across the area.

Already, rainfall reports show that 50-85 mm of rain has fallen across Glencoe to Elora.

This includes London, St. Marys, Tavistock, and St. Jacobs.

The heavy rainfall is expected to ease down later this morning with another 5 to 10 mm expected.
